The National Year of Reading is a celebration of the importance of reading in every child’s life. It highlights how reading supports learning, imagination, wellbeing and success across all subjects. Throughout the year, schools across the country will be promoting a love of books and storytelling, and encouraging children to read for pleasure every day.
